I was chatting the other day with a new client, and they commented on how difficult it has become to manage critical business documents across their business, as there is no clear home for where all their documents and content should be stored.
“ Some users save their documents in a folder on a network share, others save to their local hard drives. Procurement save some documents like invoices to their ERP system, and some users have even taken to saving documents to MS Teams, MS SharePoint and OneDrive. Lets not mention the amount of emails they receive with embedded emails in them. This all within a single company within the business. “
The new client was in simple words, in a “pickle.”
