2023 is galloping out of the starting gates and if we thought last year was at pace, I have a feeling 2023 is going to feel like an F1 Grand Prix.
The emails are already flowing at mass (Help – I am still trying to catch up on last year’s email) and the projects are in full swing.
At the end of 2022, companies took stock of what they had achieved during the year and started planning their 2023 strategies.
At the top of many organisations’ strategies is the goal of growth. This goal had been stunted in the past couple of years as businesses opted for survive versus thrive, however now businesses across the African continent are ready to say heck let’s do this.
Growth needs to be supported through people, processes, and systems. Digital Transformation, but more so Digital Modernization are topics back in the boardroom gaining traction.
The need to automate processes, improve processes and gain better visibility on what people are doing is increasingly needed today. Businesses have adopted hybrid working models, and we will see an increased trend in this moving forward, specifically in Finance, Banking, Insurance and Professional Services based businesses. I believe cloud-based systems will continue to grow and organisations will be wanting solutions that are continually evolving in the areas of R&D, integrate with existing solutions and are not just solutions that do one thing.
Access to the right information, at the right time, by the right person has been something I have been talking about and helping our clients with for years, but now allowing your customers to be part of your process and providing them with the channel/tools in this modern way of working, is more and more of a focus.
No more broken processes!
