My goodness, we are literally three weeks into the new year and I am only just getting a chance to write my first thoughts down and welcome messages for 2022.
As the work gates opened for 2022, it seems everybody has had a good dose of vitamin c and started running at full pace.
For many of us our holidays and adventures over the Christmas period, feel like long and distant memories. But before my memories start to fade, I wanted to give a big shout-out to my amazing team, who flew the VM Consulting flag high and proud while Brenton and I were away on a Botswana adventure.
After almost two years of hibernating because of COVID, my family embarked on a round trip to Botswana, with a couple of our friends. It was a self-drive of over 5000 kilometers, with lots of camping in unfenced parks, animals wandering through our camps and of course lots of great food and memories. Yes, we did get chased by the occasional grumpy elephant, and elephants do walk in the town streets of northern Botswana. However, most of our animal encounters were not dangerous and we have returned home with some amazing photos and many awesome memories.
The trip to Botswana had been rescheduled a couple of times due to COVID, but our timing could not have been more on point and relevant for the new adventures the team from VM Consulting are embarking on in 2022.
VM Consulting is expanding our reach and will be assisting clients across the African Continent on their digital transformation journeys. We are proud to now be recognized as the leading M-Files partner in Africa and South Africa, and as the year unfolds you will see myself and our solutions team popping up in cities across South Africa, Lesotho, Mozambique, Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Somalia, Mauritius – the list is growing daily.
I truly believe the year ahead is going to be a great year and I look forward to working with our staff, clients, and partners on our greatest adventure yet!
