Wow, I cannot believe we are already into February. January flew past so quickly, you would think it competed for a new land speed record.
But I have to say I am excited about what Fabulous February has in store for the VM Consulting Team, we have some exciting new products, new services and even a new office space lined up this month.
As a commitment to our amazing clients over the past 18 months we have been changing things up at VM Consulting.
Traditionally seen in the past as a product-focused / M-Files-focused company we have been spending time expanding our 3 key team areas.

- Software Development Team.
Our clients who work closely with us, understand our passion for business, strategy and process. We are often asked to assist businesses with process re-engineering, process identification and advising on their digital transformation and modernisation journeys. Strategic consulting and modernisation advisory services are definitely an area close to my heart. Being able to turn a business around through ideas, innovation and aligning with the right technology or digital products, is amazingly rewarding.
This brings us to our product specialist team. I am proud to say our team hold the most M-Files certifications in South Africa and Africa. A product that is so powerful and flexible, it has over the years proved to be an extremely strong foundation for many of our digital transformation projects. Its ability to store content in context, but more importantly content in motion, brings to businesses- control in their processes, content and information. The M-Files solution will remain a leading product within our products team.
Here at VM Consulting we appreciate and understand, that not all businesses are the same and that each business may be at a different point in their digital transformation or modernisation journey.
Our clients have been asking us to spread our product wings and we have been listening. We are expanding our product speciality areas and are providing our clients with choices across different verticals.
With this said we are pleased to announce a new partnership and product offering in our product speciality team. NetDocuments has arrived and we are ready to provide sales, design, configuration, implementation and support on this solution.
NetDocuments is the world’s leading Legal ECM cloud platform. A solution with deep roots in the legal sector and strong ECM and Email Management capabilities.
Now our clients in the Legal Sector have a choice depending on what is more important to their firm or legal department.
Adding to our commitment to choices, our team is also supporting businesses in expanding and extending their SharePoint environments. SharePoint is not an ECM solution, but a document repository and a portal. We can assist our clients in extending their SharePoint solution with additional functionality or restructuring their environment to achieve better success and user adoption.
Enterprise Content Management, Electronic Signatures, CRM, Process Automation, Robotic Process Automation, Information Management and AI are areas of great focus and passion for our team and we have been focused across these functional sectors for the past 27 years.
Added to this our Software Development team have been busy on exciting projects including bespoke development, systems integration, and portal development. As clients both locally and internationally explore and require outsourced software development, this area of VM Consulting’s offerings will continue to grow.
With great change and growth, we have realised we also needed a change in office and scenery. So at the end of February, we will be moving to a bigger and more modern office.
